MATHS-DISC Colloquium: Exploring AI Agents in Applied Mathematics

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s program MATHS-DISC (Mathematical Modelling, Simulation and Data Science for Industrial and Societal Challenges) held its virtual colloquium titled “AI Agents in Applied Mathematics and novel research workflows” on November 13th.

The event featured the distinguished participation of Oleksandr Honchar, Co-Founder and CTO of the Enterprise AI consultancy Neurons Lab.

Oleksandr Honchar, who has over 10 years of experience as an engineer and entrepreneur in the field of Artificial Intelligence, shared his valuable knowledge on the application of AI Agents, Applied Mathematics, and the implementation of novel research workflows. His presentation addressed the construction and integration of AI solutions, an area in which his company, Neurons Lab, specializes for the financial services sector. Honchar, a renowned public speaker and lecturer at European universities, offered a practical perspective on how AI is transforming industrial and social challenges.
